Transforming unruly, frizzy hair with its innovative formulation, this smoothing hair primer gives immediate results you will love. This water-like, weightless, concentrated treatment instantly gives high shine and manageability to all hair types without any processing time - perfect for those who are time poor and need rapid results on their unmanageable tresses.

How it works:
The Davines OI range is formulated with Roucou oil, a natural ingredient native to the Amazon rainforest. Roucou oil is known for it’s nourishing properties, replenishing dry or weakened hair to leave it feeling soft, smooth and shiny. Rich in beta carotene, it promotes hair growth and it’s strong antioxidant action helps protect your hair against life’s daily stresses including UV rays.

The formula of the OI Liquid Luster is rich in hydrating agents and the liquid texture allows them to be directly in contact with the hair fibre without any type of barrier: this allows an instant illuminating effect that requires no processing time, and it is suitable for all hair types. These hydrating agents 'film' the hair and smooth its surface for an immediate polishing effect. The final result is compact hair texture and extreme glass-like shine without heaviness.

The precise applicator nozzle and dose indicator markers make it effortless to distribute through the hair.

How to use:
Apply the OI Shampoo evenly, gently massaging into the scalp before rinsing thoroughly. Repeat if required. After shampooing, squeeze out any excess water from the hair and apply the Davines OI Liquid Luster directly on to the mid-lengths and ends - we recommend around 20ml - 40ml dependent on hair type and length. Massage to fully saturate. Rinse thoroughly. Proceed with the OI Conditioner or OI Hair Butter. Apply your conditioner evenly to damp hair through the mid-lengths to tips. Leave to rest for 2-3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

This is an instant shine treatment for cosmetic effect so can be used daily as part of your hair routine. Simply add this extra stage into your hair wash whenever you want added shine and softness.

For best results:
This weightless, liquid treatment will complement your hair regime to boost smoothness and shine. For best results, use the OI Liquid Luster after shampooing with Davines OI Shampoo and before using the OI Conditioner or OI Hair Butter. The OI Liquid Luster is not a conditioning treatment, so dependent on your hair needs, you can forgo conditioning and just use the OI Liquid Luster followed by the Davines OI All In One Milk.

A must have product

This product was gifted as part of a review panel. The Davines OI Liquid Lustre is a must have product. The shine it gives my hair is just amazing and nothing like I’ve ever had before from another product. It’s incredibly simple and quick to use and feels weightless, no stickiness just soft hair. A definite addition to my hair care routine.

Magic in a bottle

This product was gifted as part of a review panel. I have really thick, coarse hair which frizzes easily and never looks particularly shiny. I love the Davines OI range which makes my hair more manageable and smells amazing, so I couldn't wait to try this new product. You apply it straight from the bottle in between your shampoo and conditioner during a hair wash, lifting up sections of the hair to distribute it evenly. I also combed it through. You don't have to leave it to process or anything so it only added an extra minute to my shower. I could tell as soon as I applied it that my hair was going to feel amazing - my hair felt like glass. After blow drying and straightening, my hair felt so soft and shiny - nothing like it's usual coarse and wiry texture. My hair felt completely weightless too - there was no feeling of product build up like you get from other straightening primers and the effects lasted until my next hair wash. I'm a bit addicted and will be using this at every wash - I can't stop touching my hair - it's so shiny and soft! I used around 20ml on my medium length hair so I'm hoping to get around 15 washes from this bottle.
